Lactobacillus casei is part of a group of lactic acid bacteria in the human body. It is found in different parts of the body, especially in the gastrointestinal tract and the urogenital tract.
Lactobacillus casei has all kinds of health benefits. It can help regulate the digestive system, helps convert lactose (milk sugar) into lactic acid, helps prevent or treat diarrhea. It also helps prevent other digestive problems, including colic, constipation, inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) or irritable bowel syndrome.
